Image Registration is one of the most important tools in image processing. It has been applied to various realms, including medical image detection and diagnosis, industry production, quality check and facial recognition. This study tries to explore the aaiming peformance of robot’s by means of image registration with two different sensors in capturing images. In the aspect of precision, it reveales that the Cpk value is less than 1.33 not only in single spot registration but also in three successive spots registration. Compring visino sensor and GPS sensor indicates the vision sensor has higher Cpk value thank GPS sensor. The vision sensor might has better performance than GPS sensor in image registration. In the aspect of responding time, this study reveals that there is no significant difference in type of sensor and velocity of chassis (motor RPM) in single spot registration. In the result of three successive spot registration, the responding time differs from spots. In the future, the self-driving can utilitize the image registration, recongition machine learnning as well as algorithms to increase presicion and provide real-time traffic information. Finally, it can enhance the traffic safety as well as driving safety.
